When are TPMS valves replaced?
At every tyre change (rubber valves)
Rubber valves should be checked at every seasonal tyre change and routinely renewed every 1-2 years. The rubber ages due to UV, ozone and temperature changes.
In case of pressure loss or corrosion
If the tyre loses pressure over several days or the valve is corroded, a replacement is due – even if the actual valve is not yet old.
When changing to a different wheel look
If you switch to new wheels and want a different valve colour, you can replace just the valves while the sensor is retained.

Do the valves work with every TPMS sensor?
Our valves fit practically all common TPMS sensors with a standard connection. If you are unsure, our customer service can help with the specific sensor model.
How is the valve replaced?
Workshop job: press the tyre off the rim, remove the old valve, fit the new valve with O-ring, torque 4-8 Nm, refit the tyre. Routine work at most workshops.
Why a metal valve instead of rubber?
Metal valves are more robust and have a better seal. For very expensive wheels or high tyre pressure (motorhome, trailer), metal valves are the better choice.
Which colour for my wheels?
Silver for light/polished wheels, black for black/tinted, Dark Grey for anthracite, Gunmetal for sporty tuning wheels.
