A lightning adapter is required from version 5 (30 pin to 8 pin).
The adapter is easily installed via plug & play into the CD changer input. The CD changer can still be used. This allows you to additionally connect your iPod, PDA and switch between CD and adapter. The CD Changer AUX iPod adapter provides the best sound quality through this direct connection and output via the radio system speakers. Operation is via radio/steering wheel buttons.
