Select vehicleBy make, model and yearHere you will find TPMS sensors for Audi – as a set of 4 or individually, pre-programmed for the model and year of manufacture. The sensors operate at 433 MHz and are learned on the vehicle after installation. Not every Audi has sensors – first check the system that is fitted.
Which TPMS does your Audi have?
Depending on the model and equipment, Audi fits two systems: the tyre pressure monitoring system, which detects pressure loss indirectly via the ABS sensors, and the direct tyre pressure monitoring system with a sensor in each wheel.
Here is how to check: if the MMI or the driver information system shows a separate pressure value for each wheel, your Audi has sensors. If the only option is to save the tyre pressure, it is usually the indirect monitoring system without sensors.
How to find the right sensor
Our sensors for Audi are each assigned to a model and a year range. The product names state the model and year range. As Audi sometimes chooses the system depending on the equipment, check the display in the menu before purchasing.
- Open the vehicle selection and select Audi, model and year of manufacture.
- Compare the year range in the product name with your vehicle registration document (first registration).
- Choose the valve: rubber valve or metal valve in silver, black or gunmetal.
- For a new set of wheels, take the set of 4; for a single defective sensor, take the individual sensor.
The sensors for Audi operate at 433 MHz and are pre-programmed for the vehicle stated in the product name. After installation, they only need to be learned on the car.
Installation and learning on the Audi
The sensors are fitted during the tyre change in the workshop. The tyre pressure is then saved in the menu; on many Audi models, the vehicle then detects the sensors during a short drive. For the A4 B9, there is a separate guide: Learning the TPMS sensor on the Audi A4 B9. Further answers are provided in the Audi TPMS FAQ.
Winter wheels: remember the sensors
If your Audi has a direct TPMS, the winter wheel set also needs four functioning sensors. It is best to order the set before the workshop appointment, then the tyre workshop can fit the sensors during the wheel change. Orders placed by 2 pm are dispatched the same working day with DHL; delivery usually takes 1–2 days.

Frequently asked questions
Does my Audi have a direct TPMS?
If your Audi shows a separate pressure value for each wheel in the MMI, a direct system with sensors is fitted. Otherwise, it is usually the indirect tyre pressure monitoring system.
Are the sensors supplied pre-programmed for my Audi?
Yes. The sensors are pre-programmed for the model and year of manufacture and only need to be learned on the vehicle after installation.
Can I use sensors with a metal valve on winter wheels?
Yes, provided the valve hole of the wheel rim fits. For steel rims, the rubber valve is usually used.
What should I do if the warning remains after installation?
Save the correct tyre pressure in the menu and drive for a few minutes. If the warning remains, check whether the model and year of manufacture of the sensor match the vehicle, or call us.
