Here you will find tyre pressure sensors for Ford – as a set of 4 or individually, pre-programmed for model and year of manufacture. The sensors work at 433 MHz. On many Ford models, new sensors are activated on the vehicle via a fixed learning procedure.
Which TPMS does your Ford have?
Ford uses a direct tyre pressure monitoring system with a sensor in each wheel on many models. Some models, however, work with indirect pressure loss detection via the wheel speeds and do not need sensors.
Whether your Ford has sensors can be seen in the on-board computer: if it displays pressure values per wheel, a direct system is fitted. If in doubt, the owner's manual names the system, or you can ask us.
How to find the right sensor
Our sensors for Ford are each assigned to a model and a year range. The article names state the model and year range, and for commercial vehicles such as the Transit also the variant. Compare this information with your vehicle registration document.
- Open the vehicle selection and choose Ford, model and year of manufacture.
- Compare the year range in the article name with your vehicle registration document (first registration).
- Choose the valve: rubber valve or metal valve in silver, black or gunmetal.
- For a new set of wheels, take the set of 4; for a single defective sensor, take the single sensor.
The sensors for Ford work at 433 MHz and are pre-programmed for the vehicle named in the article name. After fitting, they only need to be learned on the car.
Fitting and learning on the Ford
The sensors are fitted during the tyre change in the workshop. Many Ford models then require a learning procedure: the vehicle is put into a learning mode and the sensors are activated wheel by wheel in a fixed order, usually with a TPMS activation tool. The procedures for Kuga, Focus, Fiesta, Puma and C-Max are in our Ford TPMS reset guides.
Winter wheels: remember the sensors
If your Ford has a direct TPMS, the winter wheel set also needs four working sensors. It is best to order the set before the workshop appointment, then the tyre workshop can fit the sensors at the same time as the wheel change. Orders placed by 2 pm are dispatched the same working day with DHL; delivery usually takes 1–2 days.

Frequently asked questions
How do I learn new sensors on a Ford?
On many Ford models the vehicle is put into a learning mode and the sensors are activated one after another, usually with a TPMS tool. The steps for the common models are in our Ford TPMS reset guides.
Are the sensors for my Ford already programmed?
Yes. The sensors are pre-programmed for model and year of manufacture. After fitting, they only need to be learned on the vehicle.
Do the sensors also fit the Ford Transit?
Yes, suitable sensors are available for many Transit variants. Check the variant and year range in the article name.
The tyre pressure warning lights up after a wheel change – why?
Usually the sensors have not yet been learned. Carry out the learning procedure for your model. If the warning remains, check the air pressure and whether the sensor matches the vehicle.
