Select vehicleBy make, model and yearHere you will find tyre pressure sensors for Mercedes-Benz – as a set of 4 or individually, preconfigured for the model and year of manufacture. The sensors work at 433 MHz and are learned by the vehicle after installation. Beforehand, check whether your Mercedes has a direct system with sensors.
Which TPMS does your Mercedes-Benz have?
Depending on the model and equipment, Mercedes-Benz installs a tyre pressure monitoring system with sensors (direct system) or a tyre pressure loss warning system, which detects pressure loss indirectly via the wheel speeds. Only the direct system needs sensors in the wheel.
This is how to recognise it: if the instrument cluster shows the values of the individual wheels in the “Tyre pressure” menu, your vehicle has sensors. With the tyre pressure loss warning system there are no individual values, only a restart of the monitoring after adjusting the air pressure.
How to find the right sensor
Our sensors for Mercedes-Benz are each assigned to a model and a year range. The item names state the class, sometimes the internal model series and the year range. Compare this information with your vehicle registration document.
- Open the vehicle selection and choose Mercedes-Benz, model and year.
- Compare the year range in the item name with your vehicle registration document (first registration).
- Choose the valve: rubber valve or metal valve in silver, black or gunmetal.
- For a new wheel set, take the set of 4; for a single faulty sensor, take the individual sensor.
The sensors for Mercedes-Benz work at 433 MHz and are preconfigured for the vehicle named in the item name. After installation, they only need to be learned on the car.
Installation and learning on the Mercedes-Benz
The sensors are fitted during the tyre change in the workshop. On many Mercedes models, the vehicle detects new sensors itself after a few minutes of driving; until then, the menu still shows no values. The details for each model series are in Learning a TPMS sensor on a Mercedes and for the C-Class W205 under Learning on the W205. Answers to frequently asked questions are provided by the Mercedes TPMS FAQ.
Winter wheels: remember the sensors
If your Mercedes-Benz has a direct TPMS, the winter wheel set also needs four working sensors. It is best to order the set before the workshop appointment, then the tyre workshop can fit the sensors during the wheel change. Orders placed by 2 p.m. are dispatched the same working day with DHL; delivery usually takes 1–2 days.

Frequently asked questions
Does every Mercedes have tyre pressure sensors?
No. Some models use the tyre pressure loss warning system without sensors. If your Mercedes shows the pressure values per wheel in the menu, it has a direct system with sensors.
How does my Mercedes learn the new sensors?
On many models automatically during a drive of a few minutes. You can find the steps for each model series in our guide to learning sensors on a Mercedes.
Why does my Mercedes show no pressure values after a wheel change?
After the change, the system needs a short drive to detect the sensors. If the values are still missing afterwards, the sensor does not match the vehicle or a sensor is faulty.
Do I need new sensors for winter wheels on a Mercedes?
If your vehicle has a direct system, each wheel set needs its own sensors. For a new winter wheel set, the set of 4 is the right choice.
